COPYFREE! Against the copyright on Bibles, Christian books and Christian music

bibbia_spadaAll of you can take everything you want from this site. I used a lot of sources to publish the material that is on this site. I’m definitely sure that the material published follows the Bible’s teaching, that’s why I want to promote his diffusion as more as possible.

Now we’re going to see the copyright according to the God’s word.

<< […] Freely you have received, freely give. >> (Matthew 10:8)

We received God’s grace to have deliverance, we also freely received the knowledge to give glory to God; who received musical talent to compose spiritual canticles; who received the knowledge of the God’s word to teach and write books; who received other gifts, but everything is freely given from our Lord, so why do we have to sell what God offered us freely to give him the glory?
All the prices of the Bibles, of the Christian books and of the testimonies of the God’s works through humans are against God’s will.

Another passage from the Bible:

<<For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? >> (1 Corinthians 4:7)

Brothers, we received everything from God, so why do we have to get rich taking advantages of something that doesn’t come from ourselves? Because in the end it’s all about to sell for getting rich and famous.

<<Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, saying to them, “it is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer’, but you have made it a ‘den of thieves’ ”>> (Luke 19:45-46)

In churches there is the trade of the God’s things without any shame, just there, where you go to learn Sacred Scriptures and to worship God. Once I also saw somebody who preached the god’s word and soon after he asked to buy his book instead of giving it free. How can you preach and sell your own preaching? Brothers, I would like to make you notice that Paul didn’t have a price for his preaching, he always gave freely what he received from the Saints.

Let’s take up the example of the bibles: someone can say that the price of the bibles is tied to the incurred cost, so why did I buy a bible at 8 euros some years ago and now the cheapest bible costs 16 euros? I know the format is changed but the God’s word is the same, that’s the important, so the price should be the least possible, affordable for everyone.

There were people, who sold the God’s things to get rich in Jesus’ times, and nowadays nothing has changed, people go to a spiritual meeting and come back with videos, books and gadgets, everything bought.

Several years ago I asked for a little book of spiritual canticles that I bought to a fixed price. After bought it I saw in the first page of the book the following words: <<NOT FOR SALE>>. I got confused, they imposed a price and then they wrote inside NOT FOR SALE! I don’t know what about you brothers, but the trade of the God’s things is not part of His will, least of all the trick, that is to let people believe that something is free while actually it’s in print. Shame on all of you who work iniquity and repent of your hypocrisy!

Now say, who is that brother that takes a book of testimonies or a bible and that wouldn’t give an offering if the books weren’t in print? But it needs faith and putting a price on a bible is an obvious proof of the lack of faith.

Brothers, if you saw where these kinds of people who sell everything, live, you would understand that the money they received is not only to cover the costs of the books’ realization.

<<For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. >> (1 TIMOTEO 6:10)

Paul says they turned aside from the faith, while before they were in the truth of faith, then for the love of money they turned aside.

Therefore, brothers, take heed from everyone who walks as an enemy of the cross and that loves money; open your eyes and stop enriching who love money and give it to poor people or to things that really edify or comfort who receives it, instead.

I definitively want to give freely everything I received from God and I’m against the trade of the God’s things. (Affirmation similar to that one on the Loraine Boettner’s books).

My request to God for you brothers is that the Lord can protect you from these kinds of people and He makes you discern the real and spiritual things from the false and material ones.

God blesses His people! To God be the glory forever!
